😴 Sleep question

Sleep regression at 2 months?

Emma was sleeping pretty well, but this week she's been waking up every hour. Is this normal at 2 months? I'm so exhausted but trying to stay patient. Any advice or experiences to share?

Sleep disruptions around 2 months are very common and often called the '2-month sleep regression.' At this age, babies are becoming more aware of their surroundings and their sleep cycles are maturing. This phase typically lasts 1-2 weeks. Some things that may help: establish a consistent bedtime routine, ensure the room is dark and at a comfortable temperature (68-72°F), try white noise, and watch for sleepy cues to avoid overtiredness. Remember, this is temporary and you're doing a great job! If sleep issues persist beyond 2-3 weeks, consult your pediatrician.

Always consult your pediatrician for medical advice.

Have you tried cluster feeding before bed? Sometimes they wake up hungry. Also, blackout curtains were a game changer for us.

We went through this too! It's totally normal. Their sleep patterns change a lot in the first few months. Hang in there!
